Aditya graduated from Prayagraj's esteemed Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) with a degree in engineering. He worked for Tata Motors for a year after graduating to obtain professional experience, which aided in the development of useful abilities including professionalism, time management, and decision-making.

Aditya belongs from a middle class family, His father is a retired Company employee and his mother is a homemaker, he was born and brought up in Bahadurgarh, a city in Haryana.

Aditya Vikram Agarwal’s inclination towards public service, combined with his vision for administrative reforms, led him to choose the civil services as his career. He believed that the bureaucratic machinery has a direct impact on the socio-economic development of the country. His motivation stemmed from a desire to work at the grassroots level, ensuring last-mile delivery of governance, promoting social justice, and participating actively in nation-building processes.
