An ICT system is a configuration made up of users, data, software and hardware.
• Networking and other forms of communications technology are frequently included. Computers and ICT are not the same thing.
• Computers are the hardware component that is often part of an ICT system. ICT systems are utilized in a variety of settings, including factories, workplaces, ships and airplanes.
• They are also employed in industries including farming, medical, and communications.

Limitations of ICT
• Security: ICT can be a target for cyberattacks, potentially resulting in data loss or monetary damages.
• Privacy: Privacy issues arise because personal data can be collected and stored using ICT.
• Digital divide: The difference in access to ICT between those with and those without is known as the “digital divide.” Inequality in society and the economy may result from this.
