Satyaputras
Satyaputra was a small kingdom located in the eastern valley of the Malaya Mountains, part of the Western Ghats (Anamala, Palani, and Nilgiri) in Tamil Nadu.
• The Satyaputras governed regions of the Kongu country and were bordered by the Cheras to the west and the Pandyas and Cholas to the east.
• Sources: They are referenced in the Puranas, ancient Tamil texts, and Sangam literature, as well as in the Edicts of Ashoka.
• The Gummireddipura plates clearly indicate that Satyaputra is none other than the renowned Adigaman dynasty.
